The Slatington Bike Night and Car Show

LadyLake Entertainment and our artists are very happy to support this year's Slatington Bike Night and Car Show (described in detail below).

"Slatington Bike Night and Car Show was started in 2013 after the death of Milton J. "Bup" Greene in July of 2012. He was a member of the Fire Department for over 30 years. He even served as treasurer for many years and took vacation from his job every year to help at the carnival every night. At one point he also served on Borough Council within town. He was very active in his community and helped others any time that he could. He was a member of the Hose CO. #1, which cares for the statue and bell on Main St, Slatington. A portion of the proceeds are contributed to this committee to continue restoration projects on the statue. This an agreement set forth by the Fire Department. Bup also was a part of the Teamster Horsemen Motorcycle Association 53 North, where Brian Taylor serves as President. The members of that organizations help in the planning and staffing of the event. They, along with the fire department staff, especially Keith Weaver, chief, have been extremely dedicated in organizing and contributing to this event. Bup is missed tremendously by his family and friends, but his memory will live on through this event. Please join us this year on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2015 FROM 12-8 for a great event.
